We both really enjoyed our stay at Mt Field Retreat. Our cabin was just perfect, super comfy, fully equiped and great local information and comunication. Super easy to book and book in as all online. The owners were really friendly and super helpful giving us tips about the local wildlife, nearby walks and things to do. Recommend the local cafe too for coffee, treats and local art. We stayed one night in a self contained unit, so called 'Pod', at the Mt Field Retreat. There are 12 of these new pods in situ. Very modern, well fitted out, and we had a very comfortable king bed. Cooking facilities provided in the kitchen. The location at Mt Field National Park is perfect for anyone who enjoys getting out on the numerous tracks and walks nearby. We took the easy walk to Russell Falls - highly recommended.
I cannot speak highly enough of Rachel and Greg's wonderful Mt Field Retreat. The cabin was easy to access and felt like home with functional furnishings and very thoughtful touches, including lovely knee rugs, beautiful wall art and great hot drink options. All that a few metres away from the entrance to Mt Field National Park. Can't wait to visit again!
Loved our stay here. Pod was spotless, had everything we needed snd we cooked a full meal. Walked in & out of the park multiple times. Location to park awesome. We came fully stocked but if you needed to you could get food @ visitor centre when it’s open. We were well informed of everything and Rachel gave us a really early check in. Highly recommend!
Outstanding accommodation at an amazing location. While the site is still work in progress, it does not impact the high standards of the existing pods.
