Practice Manager Tayla was very welcoming, bubbly and cheerful. Dr Alexander Edwards was thorough, polite and explained everything clearly. Medical centre neat and tidy. Plenty of parking available when I visited at 1pm 8/12/25
We’re new to Mount Barker and know how important it is to have a regular GP to coordinate medical care. We were so pleased to have been able to transfer our care to MBSMC. The Reception staff were friendly and welcoming and Dr. Edwards was very professional and prescribed and referred us to appropriate further care. Very impressed, especially after a visit to Mount Barker Hospital Emergency Department where I was asked who our current GP was and we told them we didn’t have one yet and were looking for one in Mount Barker. Refusing care when an appointment was booked with proof but an error on their system is an all time low
Dr. Edwards’ easy availability has been helpful for access to his support with physical medicine, in which he has solid skills, and indicative of his bedside manner and relational skills at this stage in his career. For persons who are neurodiverse and/or living with CPTSD, please be aware that his clinical practice effectively illustrates the triple empathy problem (Shaw, 2024).
