Banker pressured me to try a "pre-approval" offer while opening a checking account, stated "it's on the screen anyway so if you don't mind helping me run it", promised it would be a soft pull, I did not need a new credit card but trying to help her perfomance score out thinking it would not hurt anyway with a soft inquiry, as what pre-approvals are supposed to be. M&T is lucky to have Alla as your representative at your Gallows Road branch. She has a photographic memory and cares about her customers. I only wish that M&T products are more competitive so I can do more business with her.
