My wife and I had a scheduled appointment with the VP & Senior Branch Manager, Justin Hopkins, to come in and wet-sign documents to complete a transaction that we'd initiated online. We had an appointment to have something notarized and the person doing the notarizing was very rude and dismissive and ultimately would not notarize what we needed to even though we told them it was needed in a timely manner. He would not listen to reason and we left and went next door to KeyBank and they signed it with no problem. We do most of our banking through M&T but maybe it is time for a change.
