Someone opened a fraudulent bank account in my name. I called M&T to inquire if the fraudulent bank account was made online or if it was made in person. They stated that they could not share that information over the phone. I no longer live in Pennsylvania or in a state that has a M&T bank, so I will not be able to get access to that information and the representative offered no other information to help. In short, they will help someone open a Fraudulent bank account but will not help you persecute the thieves.
The worst, computers are always down. They are not organized. I’m done with this bank. Some of the employees are very nice but the other half are not and seem lazy
