Today I visited the bank with my mother 73 years old to seek assistance with Deposit her check . However, from the moment I entered the premises, it was evident that the staff members were disorganized and unwelcoming. Despite patiently waiting in line, the service I received was unprofessional, impersonal, and lacking in basic courtesy. Joellen G is the best at this bank! I came in for my first loan ever and wasn't sure what to do. She helped me every step of the way and explained everything so easily. She was so friendly and personable, that it made me more comfortable about the whole transaction. She stayed in communication with me and even offered to help with anything I needed in the future. This morning I sat 13 minutes at the drive thru before anyone came and acknowledged me and the deposit I was making. No apology or acknowledgement of the long wait. E
I have been banking with M&T for years now. But I have never had to do, any sort of banking with them inside. All my banking is done online, or at the ATM. This visit was for the ATM. The ATM is located in the lobby, and after hours you need to swipe in to get inside. I like that security feature, plus it’s well lit.
