As a bank, M&T has been pretty great. This is bigger than just service - this is about culture and reestablishing the correct images and ways companies (especially banks) should be branded to the public. It is ridiculous that M&T Banks have removed the AMERICAN FLAG from 99% of their banks in WNY. Furthermore, they disrespect the flag in Elmwood by moving the American flag off to the side to allow a rainbow flag to be front and center. Only two counter associates tellers open 12pm during week.
This location doesn't seem to know what they are doing most of the time. I came in on Monday July 21st to cash in an old savings bond. For some reason, they no longer cash them at the bank. I was told it could take up to 10 business days for the funds to appear in my account. I never received a receipt for this transaction either. When I called to speak with someone, she sounded confused. She claims the clerk who did the original transaction will receive an email when the funds are available, and she should then in turn give... read more
