Would not even give 1 star if that were an option. I have been a M&T Bank customer for 20 years and have never had worse service than I did today. The relationship banker, Susan, could not conduct a wire transfer properly. I brought instructions provided from the receiving bank that were incredibly clear. It's a great place to start to become a new person and you can ask the staff any questions. THEY ARE VERY NICE!
If I could give zero Stars I would. I would never recommend anyone getting an account M and T. The guy who was the manager said he could not cash a check that had a company and my name on it. So I had to go all the way to a cash checking place and get the check money. I could not deposit it in my account in which is unheard of most companies will call whoever else is on the check to verify the signatures. The manager wanted me to go ask the owner of a company to go with me to deposit the check. None of this makes sense and I... read more
