I give 3 stars becuas the doctors here are fantastic, super nice, and the best in town, but they are not good at running an office and don't fire staff that don't do their jobs properly and replace them with more competent staff. The staff never answer the phone, so if I go to the lab and they need a slip, I have to leave the lab and physically go to their office and walk up to their desk and get the slip from them and then go back to the lab and they seem to just be sitting around witht the phone off when I get there. Dr Mogla is an A1+ outstanding nephrologist who is very compassionate and an up-to-date expert in kidney issues. He treated me when I was in the hospital with Extremely HIGH calcium and looow kidney functioning! He has since has advised me so that my kidney functions are back to a normal level. In every follow-up visit, he is always very prepared having reviewed my test results and case history in advance, but he always listens to my reports of my bodily feeling before he offers his sage opinion and advise. I’ve had a wonderful experience at this office. Dr. Niznik is an exceptional nephrologist—kind, intelligent, and incredibly thorough. He takes the time to explain everything in great detail, which helps me feel informed and confident about my care. Everyone in the office has been consistently professional, polite, and helpful. I truly appreciate the high level of care and attention I receive here. Highly recommend!
Back in June, I agree that the Receptionist was very rude. I called there to confirm my daughter's appointment and the person was very rude. Possibly that receptionist has been replaced by now. Being a receptionist you are the front of the office; especially attending to sick individuals. Dr. Varas is very kind indeed. Most receptionists in the health field are kind and have compassion for people, and that receptionist back in June was not kind.
