I had a phone consultation with Dr Anderson. She recommended a type of supplement that scientific research has suggested increased risk of certain cancers. Following that appointment I met with another doctor who advised me not to take the recommended supplement, and recommended a safer alternative. I am disappointed and shocked that a doctor at Marin Cancer Care would recommend a potentially harmful treatment.
