As we arrived in Minocqua late on Friday, September 28th our Auto Stop/Start system warning came on as did our check engine light. Early the next moring I had O'Reilly's Auto Parts use their diagnostic computer to help figure out the problem. It indicated a problem with our EGR valve. Since I did not have the tools needed or a place to work on our van, I asked O'Reilly's for a recomendation on a mechanic. He recommended MS Diesel & Automotive. So I drove to their shop. Matt and Marissa are fantastic. Got me in immediately, fixed my tire in 20 minutes. When everyone else in town was closed on a Saturday afternoon. They are awesome - the kind of place/people we should all be giving our business to!
These guys are amazing! I had a cylinder misfiring while passing through town. They got me in the same day I called. Matt diagnosed and fixed the issue within a couple hours. Some of the kindest people I’ve met. Highly recommend them!
I stopped by to make an inquiry on a repair on a company vehicle. The folks were upfront and honest in that said repair was beyond the scope of what they could do. I appreciate their time and pragmatism. There was no incurred charge for their time.
Was in the area snowmobiling, truck fuel gelled up. Matt was extremely accommodating to get us in quickly, and replaced the fuel filters so we could headed home on a weekend. Was nearly the only mechanic open and willing to help out. A+++ from us.
