I’ve eaten at Mrs. White’s four times, twice dining in and twice ordering to go, and unfortunately, each experience has been disappointing. I really wanted to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt because of its history, reputation, and positive reviews, but the food and service have been consistently inconsistent. The seasoning is unpredictable. Some dishes have been overly salty, while others have been bland. This reminds me of the kitchen in every Baptist church. The food is fire!!! I will smother anything in their gravy. Mrs. White’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren run it and they are making their grandmother proud. 10000/10 highly recommend.

Such a disappointment. I went for lunch on a Monday and I guess they serve whatever is left over after the weekend The catfish sandwich was described as coming with "house/homemade" tartar sauce and coleslaw. So when I ordered the catfish dinner I asked for a side of tartar sauce and they brought me 2 squeeze packets.... Like wth??? Really dry cornbread was brought before the meal. We asked for butter and they brought liquid margarine (disgusting). Like no real butter or honey??? They were out of greens (or had not made any ... read more
