What a pleasure!!! Family owned and operated! Food was amazing! Pops in the kitchen making a magical feast, while moms at the cashier creating such a home vibe feeling. Definitely coming back!!
We got the baby back ribs and spare rib meal with collard greens and coleslaw. Everything was super tasty. I’m a diabetic so I couldn’t have their sauce, but we did the dry rub and it was great. We split it, but then I tried the sliced beef brisket, half a pound, and it was so good. Very tender. The other thing that was impressive was that the owner came over to check and see how everything was. She was very personable. That makes a difference these days!
I stopped in today and ordered the brisket platter with the tator tots and baked beans. Meal automatically comes with a deep fried greasy biscuit that I ate but did not enjoy. I’m used to being one of the staples of a BBQ restaurant. An accompanying biscuit even though is complimentary should be so good you order more to take home. Please stop frying these and bake them in the oven. I asked for my meat to be moist as a brisket should be in my opinion.
