Stayed here on a business trip for the first time for 3 nights. The accommodation is renovated cottages/house. I stayed in the Garden Cottage which is a house that has been split into 2 cottages. The furnishing/utilities were good and they even provide basic food/drink necessities incase you arent prepared. Full kitchen with full sized fridge. Ample parking for multiple vehicles per accommodation. Only reason im not giving it a 5/5 star is the floating floorboards would shift/slide under foot, and the bathroom window didnt h... read more
Called up very late as I had an emergency and needed accommodation that night. Was swiftly sorted, with advice for my car troubles as well. There was complimentary food and drinks which was needed as I arrived late and nothing was open. The cottage was great, nice amenities, good price and breakfast included. You guys are awesome, and will stay again next time I'm passing through!!
Spent Christmas Eve here and it was a special place. Quiet, clean, kangaroos & a very generous and well stocked kitchen and refrigerator that was much appreciated after a long drive. Old fashioned hospitality at its best. Many thanks & highly recommend for anyone passing through Ivanhoe.
Just arrived after a change of plans from our previous booking at Lake Mungo What a pleasant surprise! Almost felt like home.. Host has gone over and above what any reasonable traveler could expect. What a surprise (In a good way)! Due to rain changing our travel plans at last notice we had to stop overnight in Ivanhoe. A hasty phone call was made about an hour out and we ( 4 of us, two couples) managed to secure a night. Dazza met us out in the street after dark and in the rain to welcome us. Very modest but very well appointed and cared for cottage greeted four weary travellers. We had a great stay. Thank you Dazza.
