This is a nice community-oriented spot with a small menu, local coffee (from Necessity Coffee, which I find bitter and watery), and a selection of beer and wines that you won't find in a big box store. Prices are in line with the area (expensive). Plenty of seating, a lot of it laptop friendly.

I’m done with this place. Used to be one of my absolute fav new spots in North County, perhaps all of San Diego to have a slow morning coffee or meal a few times a week, sometimes with a friend, other times with a laptop. Now there’s a bunch of empty tables with passive aggressive signs that say no laptops. Mgmt is constantly changing their WiFi and seating policy.
