My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in May of 2018. We were referred to Dr. Vinjamuri and she has been great. She explained the treatment, the side effects and gave us notes to take home. She is always willing to listen and help with all our concerns and questions. She made sure my mom was given hydration when it was hard to drink and medication to help stimulate her appetite when it was hard to eat. She is very thorough with her treatment and leaves no stone unturned. I have communication issues with her and I am not the best patient when I am scared. But the entire staff at Carson Tahoe Cancer Center is amazing!
Very scattered, no compassion for her patients. Never would recommend her. My Dad was recently diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer and while in one of his hospital stays, Dr Vinjamuri came in to talk to him about treatment options and that a further biopsy of the liver needed to be done. We had an appointment Dr Vinjamuri about a week after the liver biopsy to go over results and treatment plan.
