Terrible MRI scan. Images very poor due to lack of care and advice. I was not told to fast or to keep my bladder full, as a result the scan was useless. Very poor contrast and quality. I paid £300 for this scan, I have written to MRI plus twice and am still awaiting for an adequate response
I booked what was supposed to be a cardiac MR 'Angiogram'. No further way to clarify which type of angiogram was possible on the website but I provided all the information about why I needed the scan and all my family cardiac history. After taking a day off work and driving for over an hour and waiting, I was told that they didn't offer this type of scan. I did get a refund and goodwill gesture so have given three stars. Excellent very quick & friendly made me feel calm
Front of desk told us we had no appointment despite being called by the x-ray department earlier to confirm details. After trying to call the team he stated that in fact we did have an appointment. It it was “ at the bottom of the page” so he missed it! X-ray itself was a farce as the team did not know how to work the equipment taking 30 minutes to take 4 photos. Even asked to lay down in order to get the knee X-ray when obviously this was impossible to get a side shot!
Excellent support from the team. Need to get a chest X-Ray. Just walk in today, being a Sunday to be honest I was amazed by the service. It was a self referral, the physio made me feel comfortable and got all my details. Within 45 minutes I was out of the hospital. Every step properly clarified, disposable gown provided to keep me safe, the radiographer cross verified everything to make sure all details are correct and got a confirmation email immediately.
