This place saved my life.!! Simply put, supportive, genuine, empathetic people that work there. The services provided, the 12 step groups as well as other services offered. There should be a Recovery Center that mirrors this one in every city.

Thank you, MRC. Working with people is never easy, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to support—but Montachusett Recovery Center somehow finds a way to meet people where they are. I have never encountered a more genuinely altruistic group, from the staff to the members of the AA/NA meetings held here. The hybrid meetings (in-person and Zoom combined) are an amazing innovation—especially helpful during the pandemic and still appreciated now. MRC is a great place, except for Jess. She also works at Blue Hills Recovery sober house in Leominster. I spent 6 weeks there, I had to force myself, it was so dysfunctional. I left AMA, and Jess was in charge of packing all my belongings. She told my roommate my jacket looks good on her. But she doesn’t realize it was the last thing my mom gave me before she died. Hopefully she’ll give it back to me.
