I wanted to make sure to write a review about this location. This is a family owned business. With that said, they make you feel like family. I pulled in with other problems other than transmission to include my timing cover plate coolant leak. Not only did they fit me into there schedule right a way but they also gave me a ride down the street where I was staying and picked me up when they finished. Pricing was great for the work they performed. I would recommend this company to anyone.

We have used this repair shop exclusively for the past four years since moving here from Georgia. During this time her minivan has had transmission and break repair work done; while my truck has had belt / hose replacements and break repairs, not to mention the numerous oil and lube changes for both vehicles. My husband and I have an old truck that we use for home, work and hauling just about everything, When the truck just seemed to be on its last leg, we took it to Joel at Mr. Transmission on Asheville Hwy., Spartanburg SC. Joel rebuilt the transmission with a fire under him. He seemed to understand how desperately we needed it. Not only did he fix our truck quick, I couldnt have asked for a better price (with or without a coupon). Anyone that needs transmission work is a fool to take it anywhere else.

My wife and I were passing through South Carolina on our way back to Warner Robins, Georgia when my pickup truck began to loose some of its power. I assumed that the transmission was going out and that I would need to replace it. We pulled off the interstate and went to the Mr. Transmission shop in Spartanburg. Joel, the manager took it for a short ride and did some kind of computer test. The problem was due to over heating of the transmission but was fixable and only took a few hours to complete. Dont ever go to Mr. Transmissions. they are a rip off. they will pull trick to where you cant get your car back if you refuse for them to work on your car, so you have no choice but to let them work on it.
