Went in for a simple tire repair that only needed a tire plug. They ended up charging me for the repair plus tire balance and a new TPMS sensor without consulting me at all. My car is only 2 years old and the TPMS sensor was obviously working perfectly since it alerted me to the low tire pressure. Be aware of this if you decide to go to Mr Tire. Very unprofessional to not advise a client of ridiculous up charges
It’s always a good experience when I bring my car here. They’re always very informative with me and will answer any questions that I have. They also will keep you updated and make sure that you know what exactly is needed for repairs.
Disappointed by failure to follow industry safety standards. I recently visited this location to replace two tires on my Hyundai. Instead of installing the brand-new tires on the rear axle- which has been the strict industry-standard safety practice for over 20 years to prevent rear-wheel hydroplaning and spin-outs-the shop installed them on the front. When questioned why they were on the front they claimed it was because it was a front wheel drive vehicle.
Zero stars for this shop - I’ve been coming here for years but it seems the service has really gone down hill. They had my car for 3 days - had to call multiple times to get a status on it - picked up my car and the check engine light was still on. I’ll be taking it somewhere else from now on.
