I took my car to Mr. Tire of Ithaca for an inspection. They informed me that I needed new rear break pads and rotors which I expected. After looking it over they informed me that my car required $1,500 worth of work. About $500 of it wasn't relevant to passing my inspection (tire rotation, alignment, brake flush). What I am most disgusted with is they told me I needed a new rear coil spring and quoted me $300 for parts and labor.
