Crooks or Clowns? My car was overheating and I dropped it off at MrTire in Morehead City. The next morning they called and said I needed a new radiator and thermostat and to replace hoses and belts. They also suggested 4 new tires to the tune of $1800 dollars. I told them just the essentials and they said I needed the radiator and it would cost $850. I called McCabe Auto and they said it would cost $300 for a new radiator installed. I took it there. He checked it out, the radiator was fine. All I needed was a $20 thermostat.... read more
Gave them my truck at 9:45 didn't start on it until 1130. Had two coupons, one for $20 oil change coupon & one for $20 off service over $100. I was told they would use them both...until they did the work. Now it's a $44 oil change and will not apply both coupons. Told truck would be done by 2:00 WRONG again. 3:45. Took 6 hours. BTW, if your not very clear on which price oil change you want...you will always be charged for the most expensive one. I have been loyal to them for 10+ years...Never again.
After reading the two negative reviews I crossed them off my list until a local fellow told me that’s where he goes. The tire pressure warning light on the dash of my 2013 SUV had come on. Being an old guy (74) with a bad leg I didn't want to fool with the pumps at the stations (they don’t tell you the pressure and cost $1 to run; plus, it could be a nail. This is the worst service station in the town. They say one thing and then do another i will never recommend this place to anyone if you go there you should just find somewhere else to go because they will mess your car up and charge you for there mistakes
Very rude customer service. Sent me a coupon in the mail and charged me a $12 service fee on top of the coupon. Which made the oil change regular price, not really a coupon huh? I went on a later date (Second chances are awesome!)and they put the wrong size belt on my van which caused damage to other parts of the engine. They charged me for a new belt and the repairs to the engine..... On another trip (I like third chances...)
