Asks for credit card number over the phone even before having a solid date. I never had a contractor doing that. Sounded annoyed when i told him i was not comfortable with the process.

Mr. Spa is amazing. Called him. He came when he said to evaluate the issues. He came prepared for all situations. He fixed my spa to where it was operational again. Identified some down stream issues and then even came back to install some parts that needed to be ordered. He was in and out with no BS. Didnt suggest any unnecessary work or parts. Highly recommend him. Andy

I called and asked for service to Leander. NOPE! He only services Austin and Lakeway. Refuses to drive a few extra miles.

I had been putting off hot tub repair because I thought I could replace the part myself. I decided to call a professional instead when I took apart my hot tub and found some other problems. Dave was recommended through a friend and when I spoke with him on the phone he was very upfront about cost and procedures. If Dave Wheeler aka Mr SPA even shows up, beware of cost surprises. Last year he fixed my Jacuzzi (eventually) and he tacked on extra $ to pay his $800+ invoice with a credit card, so I waited 30 days to pay him with a check. Now my Jacuzzi is dead again with “FLO2” on the display and Dave tells me he won’t come out and take a look due to past payment issues. The man is lazy and unprofessional. Prior repair took weeks to complete (he doesn’t like working when weather isn’t pleasant). Find someone else.
