At 43 i have been suffering significant left hip pain with it also impacting my mobility and day to day living, i have had RFA done in my left hip and still struggled months later. 2 months ago i had the left hip arthroscopy ITB band release and bursectomy and the changes have already been life changing. Difficulty walking and bending knee for couple weeks so made consult with Dr Blackmore , was told on the day I tore my meniscus and a MRI confirmed what Dr Blackmore told me. Booked in for surgery following week and being in my 60s i thought recovery will be difficult, however i walked out of hospital same day , did not require any pain meds or crutches , and within 2 weeks post surgery swelling had gone and im back to my normal self , brilliant surgeon , thank you Shane Highly recommend, so happy !!
I met Shane in 2019 concerning my left hip. First impression was he was so thorough and explained everything to the smallest detail of a hip replacement in which I had in 2020. I have never met such a caring and compassionate surgeon. In the meantime time I have had two more replacements in which I have recovered so quickly and pain free. I am so grateful I was referred to Shane Blackmore and his team by another specialist. Right and left shoulder reconstruction over two years it’s a tough sometimes confusing journey of recovery.
