Mr. Ron's is definitely a Ramona special. He certainly will tell you how knowledgeable he is but never fix anything correctly. He first was called out to fix my dishwasher which he couldn't. He said it needed to be flushed, it needed a new pump motor. He then was called out to fix my Cafe refrigerator. He came back 4 times and still wasn't fixed correctly. Mr. Ron was GREAT!! Dryer stopped working, got a speedy reply when I called, showed up on time, diagnosed and fixed it in about 15 minutes... it was GREAT!!
Over the years I have hired Ron to fix my ice maker (on separate refrigerators) and he replaced them and they work just fine. Ron is pricey but in my opinion the quality of workmanship is well worth it. It is very nice that he always explains why the item wasn’t working.
Our refridgerator's ice maker stopped working after this last SDG&E power outage, and my family has been going a little crazy without ice for drinks and smoothies. After trying some resets and some other possible quick fixes I found on Google and Youtube to no avail, I finally called Ron and he came out the next day to troubleshoot it. He was great at explaining the problem. Apparently it's a known issues with a lot of Whirlpool freezers that run the cables from the door to the unit in a way that makes an extra pinch point. ... read more
Mr. Ron's is great - it was easy to make an appointment and the arrival window was only 2 hours. Mr. Ron got my clothes dryer repaired very quickly. I'll definitely call them again when my other appliances need some love.
