Exceptionally companionate and understanding with a terrific bedside manner
I had an operation with this Doctor to remove a kidney stone. I had so much pain after that narcotics couldn't even stop the pain. I called the office to follow up but the office explained that the Doctor was out for weeks. After several months, I still have pain in the kidney when I ingest salt or protein. The Doctor literally destroyed my kidney for a small stone. I started to wonder if it was intentional since he never followed up with me after the surgery. My husband met with Dr. Bonitz 5/13/25. It was apparent from the onset that he had reviewed the extensive records that had been transferred to him by a previous doctor. He immediately discussed issues about his notes and explained the issues in "laymans" terms. He was very easy to speak to and his explanations made sense. He then gave him a physical exam and spent more time explaining the next course of action. He did not rush us nor spend any of his time with us staring at a computer!
