Im surprised to read some of the other reviews on here, because it varied greatly with my experience. Josh @Mr. Parkes House of Design has exceeded my expectations on multiple occassions and really gave my business the jump start it needed, in its infancy. Beware!!!! We hired Joshua Rowland aka Mr. Parkes House of Design for a reupholstery project that we were working on. He invoiced us $2000 for the design fee and nearly $14,000 for the vinyl/fabric, and he let us know that it would take approximately 2 weeks for delivery. After about a month, we inquired several times as to the delivery date, but he gradually stopped responding with excuses as to why the delay. Clients and vendors beware. My business got into contract with Josh on 2/13. On 5/26 we fulfilled our services and obligations. To date he has yet to pay his invoice. Even worse is he refuses to return emails or calls from my bookkeeper and myself (owner). As a fellow small business owner I don’t take making posts like this lightly, but also feel an obligation to warn others so they don’t fall suspect to the same situation.
