Been to Mr. Mikes steakhouse twice now, last fall went for my birthday. Service was good, the steak, however, was disappointing. Didn't find it as delicious as a medium rare stake should be. Expected more from a place that has "steakhouse" in its name. Then again visited a differe t location in February in Alberta, had the salmon poke bowl. I was there for supper with my two kids and their father. The meal was alright but I son got ten fries with his order. The waitress was … rude and absent to say the least. We ordered a drink each and before we got our drinks we received warning from a family friend that they recieved a call that if we chose to drive away that they were going to report us. We have a hotel booked across the parking lot regardless. It was a drink.
Would be 5 stars but they changed the menu and took off most of the good stuff including the lodge chips and yam fries, I know it's not this specific location that is at fault for that but it doesn't change the dining experience. They did have one good vegan option and have now replaced it with a mediocre veggie burger. The menu is seriously small now! Very disappointing. The food is fine if you don't have dietary restrictions

We hosted our Christmas party here. The atmosphere, food and staff were excellent. This is our go to place in Camrose.
