This location is closing soon, so a review almost doesn’t matter (although the recipe is probably the same as the Irving location’s), but the tonkotsu ramen broth both smells and tastes too strongly of fish… I know many broths include a bit of dashi/bonito/anchovies/etc, but the pork bone flavor should overtake that so you can’t smell or taste any fishiness. Most tonkotsu broths are not like this… Add more pork to the broth please.

The food was great, but the service was a bit slow even though the dining area wasn’t busy. Our favorite dishes were the 5 kind sashimi and the grilled beef tongue. We also tried the fried oysters and the clams steamed with sake. The clams were a bit too salty for our taste. Although this location is much more convenient for our family, we still prefer the Irving location for its atmosphere and exceptional service.
