I thought I should trust the reviews. Ordered a variety of dishes (appetizers, ramen, sashimi, etc) Left the restaurant feeling like I’d eaten a salt bomb. MSG galore. Had to drink water for hours after. Woke up so tired the next day from all that MSG.
We left completely delighted.
Update: Management did acknowledge my disappointment and apologized for the servers behavior. Wonderful vibes and ambiance. I felt like I was in Japan. It's not really floor seating. Guest can hang their feet under the table in the "floor seating area. I sat at the bar. It was cool to see cooks cooking the food. Very clean. Today was supposed to be my husband’s birthday celebration, but this Japanese restaurant completely ruined it. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations for parties under three, and when we arrived, they told us the wait would be about one hour. So we went to a nearby supermarket to kill time.
