Bought a mattress from here about 1 month ago. I got the Bennett. I swapped the size the day before delivery and Mr. mattress refunded me the difference in price imminently over the phone. The delivery was fast and on time. So far I love the mattress, a big upgrade from the ikea one I had before and I love supporting local businesses.
I was hopeful to support a local business and tried out Mr. Mattress because of their reputation for affordable, locally made products and friendly service. While the showroom had a good selection and the staff were polite, I found the mattress quality inconsistent with what I expected. I strongly warn potential buyers against purchasing from Mr Mattress in Vancouver due to alarmingly poor quality and questionable safety of their mattress materials. The materials listed on the label clearly show a cheap blend dominated by polyester and polypropylene, synthetic fibers notorious for low breathability, questionable chemical off-gassing, and poor durability. “The Concrete Slab of Suffering” I bought the Bacall Mattress from Bob at Mr Mattress. What I got was a monument. This thing is so firm, I’m convinced it was repurposed from a Roman road. Lying down feels like challenging a sidewalk to a staring contest — and losing. Every night is a test of endurance. I wake up with bruises on my soul. My chiropractor sends me thank-you notes. Highly recommended. Bob was patient, attentive and took the time to ensure that we had the perfect bed for us! No high pressure, just an honest person who is proud of the high quality beds that he provides. We are getting the best night’s sleeps and are thrilled with the fact that it is flippable!! Also love the fact that it is locally made!
