Dr. Tellman has been my urologist for close to 2 years. Truly amazing, professional, courteous, and understanding. Has always taken time to make sure I understand anything I may be seeing him for and encouraged to call him directly if anything changes.
I never had a medical procedure so painful and traumatizing. Dr. Tellman did a cystoscopy on me. I was not numbed nor had any lubrication. I was told I would only feel discomfort. I experienced the most excruciating pain ever and begged him to stop twice. He had no compassion nor did he care to stay after to explain why I was in so much pain. He just said to follow up with my urogyncologist. He left and the entire staff just went to lunch. I told the receptionist I was in so much pain I could barely walk and I was just hande... read more
I did not experience the same person the others describe. I found Dr. Tellman compassion ate and very professional and gentle in his examination.. He gave reassurance in view of my concerns and answered with due patience all my questions.. No hesitation in seeing him again
I went to see Dr. Tellman and he did a Bladder scope on me. He didn’t numb me, nor did he lubricate me for the procedure. He proceeded to do the scope with a hand held piece of equipment that looked like something used back in the 50s. He said he sterilized it prior to coming in the room , I had no way of knowing that. He began the procedure and the pain was unbearable. It even shot electrical shocks into my colon. I had a quarter size hemorrhoid in my rectum the next morning. Dr tellman was very nice and listened to all my questions. I have ocd so sometimes I need reassurance. He answered all my questions even when I asked more than once and did it nicely as well. I Had an appt w him on March 2nd in fishers and then had a procedure a week ago at the post road location. It’s healing up very nicely!!! He did a great job and it looks so good.
