I ended up with an L4/5 bulged disc as a result of an injury from a hike in June 2024. Despite physio, my condition kept worsening until November 2024 when I first saw Dr. Keat Ooi. He recommended a cortisol injection before considering surgery for pain management and asked to see him again in two weeks. I had a L5-S1 microdiscectomy with Dr Keet Ooi. My experience with him was fantastic. He was informative about my options. Answered all my questions & made me feel at ease. I highly recommend him as a surgeon. I am very pleased with the progress of my recovery from my surgery, which was only 2 weeks ago.
