In 1965 Robert A. Coulson, the founder of Mr. Hero opened his first sandwich shop on Cleveland's Westside. His philosophy was simple; create uncommonly good tastes that customers will remember. And that is exactly what he did. He created a menu with a wide variety of sandwiches and sides that you couldn't find anywhere else. For over 55 years, the Romanburger® has been and is still considered to be the best-burger ever created! It remains our customer's number 1 choice; outselling all other sandwiches combined.
