Very Helpful I've used this firm several times for a variety of jobs. Each person they sent was very capable and finished the jobs when they said they would I do think the prices are quite high and I will not be using them again, due to that. I would recommend them to friends needing work done around their homes, but I would mention the prices.
Mr. "Handyman" is Mr. Walk Away! if the job is not easy enough for them.. My experience with Mr. handyman left me hanging and very disapointed. After waiting a month to get the work done and being told how they could do it and even "specialized" in the work during phone calls and appointment was made. The worker showed up late. His apppearance was nice and the van looked in good shape I'll say that much. But after a quick review of what I needed done the worker left saying that he would have to "walk away" from this one. Mr. Handyman of Central Houston is my new handyman! Knowledgeable, friendly and competent. I had several projects, from repairing cabinet doors and a few drywall patches, to replacing tile in bath, each was done efficiently and within the time estimate. A few weeks later, one tile had shifted (later discovered that my kid walked on the tile before it completely dried) and without hesitation, the owner sent a technician out and repaired it. Expensive, not too handy, but friendly Pros - friendly, professional Cons - expensive ($158 an hour in my case), and in my case didn't fix problem I had Mr. Handyman come out and try and fix my sliding glass door. The main problem is that it worked fairly well for about a week and then was just as bad as before. They charged me $150 for one hour of labor and no materials and when I complained that it was broken after a week they were only willing to bring my bill down to $100. Prompt The handyman was prompt. After he finished the original work item, he also did a few extra odd jobs to fill in the remaining time rather than leaving early.
