Mr electric tried to up sell me on an electrical sub-panel. The electrician said the upgrade wouldn't cost much. The quote was $3500. I said no to the quote. The electrician said the sub-panel upgrade was a requirement to meet electrical code. I subsequently brought in another master electrician to find out if the sub-panel replacement was a requirement as per electrical code. The answer was "no".
