We tried this place because No1 China is closed on Mondays. Ordered General Tso chicken and Chicken LoMain. LoMain was so bad, that we tossed it, couldn’t eat it. Ended up splitting the single dish. And even the Tso chicken was bland, undercooked and broccoli in the dish tasted raw. I would stay away from this place that had a rare talent to mess up such staple dishes.
Mr. Dumpling is definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re into bold flavors. The dumplings were really good and probably the highlight of the meal. We also tried the beef tripe appetizer, which is served cold with a generous amount of chili oil. If you like that numbing, spicy kick, you’ll probably love it—it’s packed with flavor. We tried the cumin lamb and it was amazing — perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. The fried rice was also delicious, and the lo mein was one of the best we’ve had. What really made the experience even better was the excellent service. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for great food and great service!
