My husband visited Mr Goldbloom after an ankle injury. He only looked at scans and did not look at or touch my husband’s ankle. He seemed to be very uninterested. He advised to go into a moon boot for 8-12 weeks and all would be good. 12 weeks later ankle was no better. Went to a second surgeon who assessed the ankle and then looked at the scans to confirm what he could already feel. 2 torn ligaments and loose bone fragments. I would not recommend this surgeon.
My mum was referred to this Specialist. Upon calling them for a consultation she was spoken to by the receptionist and told that she would need surgery (how would the receptionist know) and unless she has private health insurance or pays $10,000 for the surgery (again how would a receptionist know) then she shouldn’t waste the specialists time or her own and just go public. Absolutely avoid. Shockingly poor service. I chose this doctor based on the glowing reviews, but the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Communication was abysmal—no one bothered to inform me that I needed an X-ray beforehand. I arrived for my appointment, only to be told I couldn’t be seen without it. After rushing to get the X-ray done nearby, I then received a call saying they could no longer accommodate my appointment. Utterly disorganised, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. A complete waste of time.
Following an accident that left me with multiple comminuted fractures, I faced the challenge of finding a surgeon with the right expertise. Thankfully, I came across Mr Goldbloom. In my first consultation, he listened with genuine care and took the time to thoroughly explain my options. I’m truly grateful to have found a surgeon who can help me, and I’m looking forward to the operation — and to hopefully regaining some normality in my life.
