The staff need training. Each one tell you different story . I applied for the pmi to be removed and they said you have to pay for a real estate agent to do an appraisal and you good to go if your home value is at a certain price. Did that and the value over their requested value by 100 k . After that they denied it because I have to do 3 major improvements to remove the pmi which they never told me to begin with. The associate didn’t give you the chance to argue.
what's the point of having a website if it doesn't even show bare minimum loan details like loan amount, paid amount, down payment, loan type, loan term, dates .etc, can't find any useful information on there
Mr Cooper worked with us for several years as we struggled to make our mortgage payments. They were flexible, kind and gracious. I don’t know if another lender would have been as understanding and tolerant as Mr Cooper. They offered us loan modification, repayment plans, and deferments to prevent us from losing our home. Their customer Service representatives are compassionate and given the freedom to make decisions without constantly being placed on hold for supervisor approval. Worst customer service you can think of. Been trying to talk to someone here all day after our most recent mortgage bill is unexpectedly $400 more than the usual. Their telephone system is the worst. It doesn’t transfer you to anyone unless you provide a reason and when you provide a reason the system tries to unsuccessfully resolve your issue without transferring to an agent. It could not give me any of the information I needed. I hope to never in my life have a mortgage with this company again.
This company cannot keep track of my proof of home owners insurance. It was submitted by my insurance company to Mr Cooper as soon as the policy was purchased. Then I get a letter several months later requesting proof of insurance. It is submitted again. I contact customer service via chat and they tell me they didn’t get it. Then I look on your website and it shows you do have it…processed, reviewed and approved. And a few days ago I get ANOTHER communication requesting proof of coverage again!
