Best Italian restaurant in nyc. Terrific service, delicious food, great menu. My wife and I are regulars. The zucchini scapece and melanzane alla parmigiana are some of our favorites. Like any good Italian restaurant, there are seasonal menu changes. The branzino and salmon there are excellent. Every pasta dish we have has been good. My wife always says the pasta is al dente. I am celiac so I get the gluten-free pasta-- it's great! We love the wine list. And the happy hour is awesome. Great options at great prices.
This place is an absolute gem in the East Village! Whether I’m ordering delivery or stopping by for their killer happy hour, they never miss. Their small pasta plates are only $12, and the ingredient quality is top-notch—the red sauce is incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. With great service and fair prices, this is easily some of the best Italian cuisine in the city. Don't sleep on this spot!

We ADORED our time at Mr. Capri! My partner was in the mood for an aperol spritz while we were waiting for our dinner resy so we decided to walk a few doors down to grab drinks. I had checked online and seen that there was an aperitivo / happy hour menu with no specific days listed, so we figured we would try a few things off that menu.
