I shout it from the rooftops.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights this week, and it was a huge disappointment. The only positive is the location—close to the Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn, and the Financial District. We booked (and paid for) a terrace room with a bridge view, exactly as advertised on Expedia. What we got was a completely different room with no view of the bridge at all. Love love it here! So not but close enough to the drama of New York! Cobblestone roads, Pier 17, so many bars and restaurants! Note it shuts down early on this side of side. World trade observatory and mall is in walking distance or a short Uber ride.
Loved the bellman, Chris. What a great experience. Front desk was good, but did not go above and beyond. Had to ask for an adjustment for the $100 credit for dining that was offered. Affiliated restaurant had a great pastry plate. Other food was either over or undercooked. Location is why we chose the hotel.
