I do recommend Mr. Appliance Mansfield. They returned my call promptly and set up a time for the repairman to come out. Joseph was very knowledgeable and he did explain everything clearly and even explained the risks that the repair might not fix the problem so I was able to decide whether or not to move forward or just buy a new fridge. We had the repair done and it worked. The parts were ordered and arrived in a timely manner and he got right back out here to do the work.

Our approx 10yr old GE refrigerator started leaking water under the deli tray and freezing. We called and nice guy came out and supposedly fixed and we paid for service. Few months later same problem started again and we called and same nice guy came back out and was honest saying he probably didn't go far enough into tubing, etc and that it was his fault and apologized it was not fixed correctly 1st visit. BEWARE! SCAM ARTIST! Total waste of money and time. Requested an assessment of our gas range. They came out, spent 10 minutes, then provided a quote for $899 for installation of the range. The range only needs to be plugged in. There is no installation needed. Charged $99.00 for the quote. The installation would literally take 10 minutes. Then advised it would be $109 to have another division come out to assess! Was advised they generally look on the internet to find out the repair methods.

This company uses your wallet to fault-isolate the problem. They keep trying different parts, racking up labor and parts costs until you've spent more money fixing something than just buying a replacement. I spent over $1000 with Mr. Appliance "fixing" my Scotsman ice maker - six visits. I wasted $800 on them "fixing" my Frigidaire refrigerator by replacing the circuit card and a capacitor, only to have the exact same problem arise two months later - now they say it's an evaporator coil leak and will cost over $1000 to fi... read more

We had a problem with our washer. Codie came out and diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and came back and fixed it. He was very professional and knew immediately what was wrong. I will definitely call again when I have a problem. Thank you Lisa Hume.

It’s not often I leave a poor review… in fact I’ve only left “two negative” reviews in my entire life. I’m sharing my experience with Mr. Appliance so that the community is aware. I called them out and paid their $119 fee, which was more than the other companies I looked into. I figured since their fee is higher I’ll get better service and results. Well, so far that’s not the case. I’ve had to call them out a total of three times and I still have the same issue…yet they have been paid AND tipped. I will document if the fourt... read more

Absolutely the rudest, most condescending telephone receptionist I have ever dealt with. I called to get more information on fees and prices, and when I questioned a circumstance (for which I prepared her in a previous call), she was belligerent and condescending to me, and she rudely continued to interrupt me. I will never recommend this company to anyone and will never contact them again. Be very careful hiring this company as they are deceitful, as other reviews have stated. Viking referred them to me and I had them out for my 4.5 year old range, the bake setting was not working. The tech had no clue what was wrong so called Viking. He stood there on my home camera, with my assistant in the room and told us that it was the burning element. He then or it could be the main board. I told him he needed to figure out which it was as I was not going to pay for one part just to find out it was something else. ... read more
