I have recently had a new head unit fitted to my Prado Altitude by James at MPX Autos. Because my vehicle came with an amplifier and 14 speakers; I was told by most auto fitters that a new head unit with CarPlay couldn't be fitted; however James had already fitted a number of vehicles similar to mine. 0 STARS I bought a system that was faulty and didn’t control my original steering wheel controls like promised. I paid $1295 and requested a refund on 24/9/25 and I am still waiting for it and emails go unanswered all the time and I have to end up sending multiple emails to get evasive and vague responses or excuses. I also paid an installer to put the new unit in my car because I live in Brisbane and he discovered it would not code to my car properly and therefore my steering wheel controls didn’t work. James was incredible. The touchscreen that he installed in our Mazda3 along with the reverse camera exceeded our expectations. It fits perfectly on our dashboard and comes with the google play store allowing us to add any apps just like a tablet. The reverse camera works perfectly and James was super nice and explained how to use all the features. It was a fair price and we highly recommend his work! Regards Helen and Lee
James is a hard working and responsible man. He will not let you down. I had a Chrysler 300c which is a very difficult car to work with and he persisted until I was satisfied with the system. He did not charge me for follow up work. The result was personalized and exceeded expectations.
