He could become better educated about G I disorders other than upper endoscopies and colonoscopies. His knowledge of problems other than those two procedures is very much lacking. He gives up before he determines the patient's problem and he is very rarely in the office. His Physician's Assistant handles virtually all the patients' needs. Either he has too much on his plate or he's just not capable of treating GI problems. I cannot recommend him and will not seek any further treatment from him. Dr. Vera's nurse Alicia is the best nurse ever. She is very compassionate and truly cares for her patients.
This man diagnosed and saved my father-in-laws life. I would recommend him to anyone needing a good gastrointestinal specialist.
