Food is some of the best German in the town. The service spoiled it though. Had to order some things from the hostess, they didn't clear our plates before bringing dessert. It's like they forgot about us.
This honestly felt like I was on an episode of "Kitchen Nightmares" and I fully expected to see Gordon Ramsey come out and ask how my experience was. My wife and I recently visited Leavenworth, for a quick overnight stay. With the wildfire smoke we figured the town would be quiet and most restaurants relatively easy to get into, so we thought nothing of it when we walked into an empty dining area. OMG. FABULOUS!! The cheese fondu was phenomenal. The chef and service was fantastic.
Had Schnitzel, Hunter's sauce and Spätzle before indulging in some desserts and everything was absolutely delicious. Service and atmosphere were top notch as well. Highly recommend.
DELICIOUS food! The sauce on the schnitzel and spaetzle was so complex, divine! Enjoyed the roasted lemon squeezed on the sausages! The food and atmosphere reminded me of a restaurant in Vienna! Thank you.
