I had an appointment for my pre-wedding haircut and highlight but my hairdresser left the salon (don’t know why) and I wasn’t notified and they wouldn’t give me his information so I could contact him. I said I didn’t want to try someone new before my wedding and then said well sorry 🤷♀️ by the way it’s Mike who is gone.
I had an amazing experience today at Moxie Montclair. I frequently visit for my blowouts and have always been very happy with my hair. Today as I was waiting for my blowout, the founder of the company approached me asking if I would like color services. I politely declined and told her I have a stylist for my color and told her I was pressed for time. Disappointing experience honestly. This was my first time at Moxie’s ever and was just completely let down. My stylist was 20 minutes late, and while the 2 girls who helped prep me before she got there were very nice, when my stylist did arrive, she didn’t even apologize for being late or introduce herself; let alone talk to me during my haircut. While the cut was fine and basic (just a trim), I felt like she was rushing to get me through, just a strange and not very welcoming experience, especially for paying almost $100.
My daughter wanted pink hair extensions and they did an excellent job giving her a cute sassy look for her birthday.
Mike and Gina are genuinely the sweetest and most talented hairstylists to exist. I adore them so much and I am so lucky to have met them. Every time I get my hair done by one of them, I just feel so amazing. I am so thankful to keep getting to feel like this every time I step into moxie. 10/10 experience always!!!!! For my senior prom, they made my hair look amazing even though it was raining and I was so happy. Love them so much!!!!
