December 18, 2024. I am the caregiver for my wife who was diagnosed Alzheimers in early 2021. We live in the same senior facility, but no longer together. I simply cannot supply everything her health requires without assistance. Sarah Zera was recommended by a care manager who was coordinating support services for my loved one who had a stroke. Sarah does an amazing job to help stroke patients get back to doing things for themselves. My sister enjoys getting herself dressed, brushing her teeth and hair, and standing up to do a word search. The self confidence and autonomy that my sister has gained has improved her state of mind and wellbeing. My sister can now scoot around in her wheelchair because of Sarah. My family and I have been so impressed by the work that Sarah Zera has done with our loved one. His recovery has occurred much faster than expected and with greater gains than we dreamed possible. My father was recently diagnosed with mid stage dementia. His neurologist ordered 8 weeks of cognitive in-home treatment from a certified cognitive therapist. I used the list of companies and options provided but was immediately met with schedule conflicts or therapist who could not come into his home for the care.
