Movement Magic offers a variety of classes including ballroom dancing, wedding dance lessons, Zumba, and more. Owner and Head Instructor Ashley Baxter teaches the styles of ballroom which include rumba, cha cha, swing, waltz, tango, foxtrot, salsa, and more. I have been taking dance lessons from Ashley for almost 2 years and I love it! She is a wonderful teacher, very patient and kind. She explains things well and makes everyone feel very comfortable. I've learned several dances while taking lessons from her and having a different dance to practice each week keeps it interesting. Movement Magic is a very friendly and welcoming place. My husband and I worked with Ashley for our wedding first dance song. Ashley choreographed a beautiful dance to the song we picked out. Ashley made us feel extremely comfortable as we learned this dance. She made it so much fun learning a new skill. The guests at our wedding still complement us months afterwards. Working with Ashley was truly the best decision. Ashley is very easy to communicate with, prompt, and always has great energy. We can't recommend her enough!!!

If you're thinking about learning ballroom dancing, Movement Magic is the place to go! The studio is in downtown Putnam, CT. The format is group classes, you do not need a partner and it is very reasonably priced. The owner, Ashley Baxter is a great teacher and an even better dancer.
