was denied entry at a powerlifting event due to a “capacity cap”, which was not posted on their social media. the lady at the front was very rude and dismissive. terrible first impression for people who are wanting to get into the sport, especially those who want to cheer their friends on and get a glimpse of what manitoba powerlifting is all about. terrible experience and very frustrating. additionally, this photo was posted at 9:54am, i arrived at 9:20am. this is so disorganized and disappointing.
Disappointing interaction with staff/volunteer. I went to watch & cheer on some friends at a powerlifting event. My boyfriend arrived a few minutes late. He was denied entry at the door. The girl taking money at the front said they were capped for the limit capacity. There was no mention of this on the instagram page. There was no attempt made by her to try and find a solution, just a dismissive and half hearted “sorry”. After we left, we saw over 5 people enter the building. Very frustrating experience for us. Great atmosphere. Gym members are very welcoming. Highly recommend.
The gym I’ve been looking for after trying all the big names. Tons of weight, racks, bars, and benches. Never have to wait, open 24/7, always clean. Highly recommended!
