In honour of National Physical Therapy Month I would like to give a shout-out to my Physio, Pauline Slater from Move to Learn-Learn-To Move. She is originally from Sydney, and she specialises in many areas; one of these being Hypermobility Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Autism. Pauline was the only therapist who made a real difference to the life of our exceptional son. By combining exercises that played to his strengths he gained the confidence to attempt other activities that he would have ordinarily refused. Her lessons were always varied, engaging and fun and we'd all look forward to Friday mornings just to find out what new challenge was ahead. We're still looking for that someone who really understands our son like she did.
